S.A. provides comprehensive and upgraded insurance solutions to individuals and businesses. The Company continuously invests on its employees, provides equal opportunities and a modern working environment with new technologies, promotes digital transformation and annually performs numerous Corporate Social Responsibility actions. According to September 2020 figures, the Company owns a Sales Network with 5,640 insurance agents, that serve the needs of over 648,000 insurance policies, and 112 Retail Offices throughout Greece. Corporate Social Responsibility Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Sustainable Development are parts of the DNA of the Company and this is daily proved in the implementation of actions for the society and the environment. It is worth noting that in November 2020, European Reliance Group of Companies published its Sustainability Report for years 2018-2019, in compliance with the principles of ISO 26000 Certification, the GRI Reporting Standards, the UN Global Compact and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The Sustainability Report presents in detail the steps and actions performed in 2018-2019 and the future objectives that enhance the Social Responsibility of the Group. European Reliance stays close to the Society and the State and mostly now that the need for donations has increased. Since the first cases of Covid-19 pandemic in Greece, our Company implemented measures for the prevention and protection of the employees and the insured, applying teleworking for over 90% of its employees and supporting the personnel with special virtual seminars and extraordinary remuneration of € 1 mil. The Company also performs on a regular basis disinfections in all of its building facilities and created an on-line P.O. Box for the secure receipt and dispatch of documents to facilitate all insurance agents and the insured. The Company, aiming to contribute to the national efforts for the treatment of the Covid-19 pandemic, donated 10 high-tech ventilators and other healthcare equipment to the Ministry of Health, provided freely three-month insurance coverage to 250 vehicles of the Mobile Health Units donated by AVIS to the Hellenic National Public Health Organization (EODY) and participated in the scheme “Special Purpose Mobile Health Units” of EODY. European Reliance aims through these actions to have a positive contribution to the protection of the environment and for this reason its strategy includes actions for the decrease of the ecological footprint and investments with direct environmental impact. One of these investments was implemented in February 2020 in the field of renewable energy sources with the acquisition of a Photovoltaic Station in the Prefecture of Thessaly, Greece, an investment that proves in action the contribution of the Company to the Sustainable Development.
