AMBASSADORS CLUB OF EBEN BOOKLET 2020 27 FEDERATION OF INDUSTRIES OF ATTICA & PIRAEUS FIAP activities in 2020 SVAP’s PROFILE The Federation of Industries of Attica & Piraeus (SVAP), was founded in 1951 as a Private Law Legal Entity. Since its creation it has been effectively contributing to the Industry of the Greater Attica and Piraeus region. SVAP has been addressing and resolving economical – developmental and social problems with its established consultative role and key interventions. The Federation is also contributing to the State providing diverse advice, insightful opinions and pragmatic solutions for the economy and industry Within its institutional operation SVAP, actively supports matters relating to local and regional development in order to promote solutions that improve the business environment and generally the state of the national economy. Assumes the role of facilitator and actively intervenes in critical situations and events that create suffocation to the market and directly threaten the survival of SMEs. Also SVAP promotes its international development orientation and extroversion commitment by being involved in the “Association of Interprofessionals Employers Businessmen – European Capital Cities” (BECC) holding the position of Vice President and also is involved in many conjoint European acts. GOALS - PRIORITIES • Cultivation of a modern entrepreneurial culture and strengthening of the dynamics of enterprises • P roviding customized support for SMEs • C reating a favorable business environment • I mproving the competitiveness of SMEs • I nternational relations Organization and participation in activities and events In supporting entrepreneurship and commercial activity SVAP: • Organizes conferences, workshops and seminars aimed at informing, educating and improving the competitiveness of SMEs. • Participates in international exhibitions seeking to promote its members’ products and services. Strengthen the recognition, brand awareness and penetration of Greek businesses in foreign markets. • Performs business meetings to analyze and study the specific problems for each business sector and exchange of inter & intra sectoral views and experiences. Participation in Community and other programs and projects SVAP actively participates in various National and Community programs, initiatives and projects, with particular emphasis on training and education of employers and employees in companies on a wide area of subjects. χώρο» διοργανώθηκε ηλεκτρονικά μέσα στο πλαίσιο του εορτασμού «Ημέρες Θάλασσας 2020» • Εναρκτήρια εκδήλωση του εορτασμού «Ημέρες Θάλασσας 2020» στο πλοίο «Γλυκοφιλούσα VI» του Ομίλου Θεοδωρόπουλος • Art Event με σχολεία του Πειραιά για τις Ημέρες Θάλασσας - Δημιουργία έργων τέχνης από παιδιά Γυμνασίου στην πλα- τεία Κοραή, διοργανώθηκε 3 Οκτωβρίου από τον ΣΒΑΠ. • Συνέδριο με θέμα «Συνέπειες κατάθλιψης στις εργασιακές σχέσεις και τρόποι αντιμετώπισης» έχει προγραμματιστεί για την Τετάρτη 18/11/2020.
