S.A. is an insurance company active in all modern sectors of insurance, providing full insurance coverage to individuals and businesses. The Company has developed innovative and flexible insurance schemes and continuously invests in new technologies. The Network of the Company consists of more than 5,300 insurance agents who support the needs of more than 620,000 insurance policies (31/12/2018). Corporate Social Responsibility Sustainable development is a key characteristic in the philosophy of European Reliance General Insurance Co. S. A., and this is constantly proved through our corporate social responsibility actions. European Reliance participates voluntarily in the Global Compact, supporting and promoting principles for human rights, labor rights, the protection of the environment and the fight against corruption. Within this framework, since 2011 European Reliance has implemented a series of exceptionally significant tasks, with over 350 actions for the environment, the culture, the society and the human rights. Among the dozens of actions for the protection of the environment, it is worth noting that in 2018 the Company completed a project on the regeneration of the seaside next to the Rehabilitation Center for Children with Disabilities in Voula. The employees of the Company, with the assistance of special construction crews, performed a reconstruction of the buildings and wooden corridors of the Center, to assist people with disabilities access to the beach. Over 70 employees of European Reliance participated voluntarily in the cleansing and painting of the buildings along the seaside, with general motto «The Beach is for all». Within the same framework and towards the strategic objective to contribute to the protection of the environment and stay close to the society and its challenges, the employees of the Company in 2019 assisted in the regeneration of the natural environment at the seaside of Kokkino Limanaki in Rafina, Attica, to reduce the consequences of the catastrophic fire in Mati, in July 2018.
