All the great players & coaches of the European Club Competitions in the past 66 seasons. YOUR HELP IS PRECIOUS With the 13,994 players, 1,376 coaches, and 600 clubs listed in the Encyclopedia, occasional mistakes may occur. In case you have detected one, please inform us via houseofbasketball@fiba. basketball to improve data quality for - future editions. A NOTE ON NAMES The names used in this book have been taken directly from the original match records. In many cases, especially up until the late 1990s, these records were handwritten -sometimes in different alphabets- which means that reading them accurately has not always been easy. As a result, occasional errors in the spelling of names may exist. We have made every effort to document each name as precisely as possible. However, in some instances, particularly in the 1950s and 1960s, this was not feasible, which is why in certain cases only the last name is provided. Additionally, we have worked diligently to avoid duplicate entries, especially in cases where players changed their last names after marriage. We have unified both names under a single profile whenever possible. Nevertheless, some inaccuracies may still exist.
