INVESTING IN GREECE – RECORDING OPTIMISM

The bilingual edition constituted DIRECTION’S ambitious publishing project and an attempt to record the air of optimism that began in Greece prior to 2014, primarily due to the significant investment moves that had been announced or implemented in that period.

The main objective was to “map” the positive atmosphere that prevailed in the country, to highlight the reasons for this optimism and to make it known, within and beyond borders, that Greece is changing and under reconstruction.

The edition records and presents the investment plans, strategy, outlook and philosophy of 118 Greek and multinational businesses that had officially declared their support and trust by investing in that period and in the future of the Greek economy and moving Greece forward.

An analysis is performed on the new elements that marked the Greek economy and market, the progress that had been made and what still had to be done.

It circulates in Greece and abroad, while 2,000 copies of this edition have been sent to distinguished international universities, respected journalists and international news networks, foreign Leaders, EU Central Institutions and 751 members of the European Parliament, embassies, international stock exchanges, international investment funds, financial institutions, representatives of the international business community and institutional bodies.
